Thing #25 that I love about Geneva - Your wife

I saw this sticker on a motorcycle in the street the other day and it cracked me up. People always say that the Swiss have no sense of humour and I've never quite gotten my head around that. I have always found that the Swiss tend to have a rather good sense of humour and are quite good at being tongue in cheek and taking jabs at themselves.

Particularly when you consider that this is a really small country surrounded by big countries that are the epicenters of the three primary cultures represented in Switzerland (French, German and Italian), I think that the Swiss are quite laid back and have a good sense of objectivity. I actually tend to think that it is these larger surrounding countries that have their panties on just a bit too tight. But that's another story.

Perhaps I am getting a bit too well assimilated .....
